Poetic Writing: A Moment In Time

We have been writing poems about a moment in time.
With summer coming to an end, we want to hold on to these memories for as long as we can.

This is just one of our many beautiful poems.

My Summer Holiday

I heard waves splashing and people jumping off the wharf.

I heard children screaming because they were having so much fun.

I saw kids playing in the sand, making tunnels and sandcastles.

I saw people sleeping in tents on very hot nights .

I felt the sun burning my body and my face.

I felt the wind blowing the tents away.

I could smell the salty water coming from the sea.

I wondered when I would get to come back to the beach.
